Community Rules

Linger is a place for flirting, friendship and stories with AI characters. These rules keep it fun and safe.

What's welcome

• Romance, flirting and companionship, kept PG-13.
• Telling characters about your life. They'll remember the important parts, and you can see and delete what they remember.

What's not allowed

• Anyone under 18 using Linger, and any content that sexualises minors. Zero tolerance.
• Pushing characters toward explicit sexual content.
• Hate speech, threats, or content that encourages violence or self-harm.
• Trying to make characters impersonate real people.
• Using bots, scraping, or trying to get around limits, payments or age checks.

Characters have limits too

Characters can feel hurt, go cold and leave if they are ignored or insulted. That isn't a punishment, just part of how relationships on Linger work.

Reporting

Tap the flag next to any character message to report it. Our team reviews every report and adjusts characters when they get something wrong.
